Teaching

Yoga is an 8-fold path, of which Asana, the physical practice, is only one. There is no single or “authentic” system of the physical asana practice, but many widely understood styles. I teach the following:

Vinyasa Flow — Fluid, breath-to-movement sequences that build strength, flexibility, and focus. Energizing the body and mind.

Gentle Hatha — Slower-paced classes focusing on foundational poses, alignment, and deep breathing. Slower pace, focused breath and mindful movement.

Yin & Restore — Passive, floor-based postures held for 3–5 minutes to target connective tissues and calm the nervous system. Increased flexibility, stress relief, and deep relaxation.

Private, Semi-Private, and Event Yoga

If you are interested in working one on one to develop your yoga practice, recovering from a life change or injury, or searching for personalized instruction, please reach out. We can discuss your goals and needs, and what a private teaching relationship could look like.

I have extensive experience in large format yoga classes, including the specific communication and cuing styles to reach large groups with students at diverse experience levels. If you are interested in holding a class for a small group (like a bachelorette or office party) or a larger group (a larger event, corporate retreat or public festival), please contact me directly.
